I've done some reading and I understand SOME things, like same color combos and low digit dragons being valuable... and using the auction house for reference (when pricing dragons)...

I hatched this guy, and I got an achievement unlocked (tertiary gene?) I guess it looks pretty cool and I can't find anything in the auction house. Maybe I was too specific but I tried just putting in the primary, secondary info and still didn't get any results?? It can't be that rare/uncommon, can it?
I mean that'd be nice. It does look cool o_o

Adult after the five-day-old rollover.
Unique colour/gene combinations don't tend to mean anything unless they're particularly pretty (most rare combos are rare because people don't want them!). That's a pretty nice matching set of colours though - I'd definitely try and see above fodder price! If you are going to sell it, be warned - there's a dominance battle happening next week so I'd price any dragon you don't want to be exalted over 20kt at least.
As a general guide, colour combos like XXX, XYX, XXY and XYY are only worth more if the dragon is a G1 (i.e. from an unhatched egg).
