this thread I know it was possible in the past to have your exalted progenitors restored to your account. I exalted mine within days of starting the game, two years ago, and after a while I realized it had been a terrible idea... but I'd been under the impression there was no reversing it and I moved on, forgetting the names and colors of my progenitors completely. I tried a few times to find them but didn't get too far.
After getting back into the game recently I heard about restoring exalted dragons and thought I'd give it a real try- I finally put in real effort and, against all odds,
actually succeeded in finding my progenitors! (There were almost thirty-five thousand dragons between the account before and after mines' progenitor dragon IDs.)
However, my real question is:
Is it still possible to get your progenitor dragons restored? I read on the forums in many places you can only have
one exalted dragon restored and I'd like to know if that is indeed true before I follow the steps on the progenitor restoration page and try to get both my progens back.

Yep! I believe so. I think you can get both progens back as of the announcement. The one exalted dragon restored is something that does not apply to progens, only normal dragons, but be aware that if you exalt your progens again after getting them restored, you can never get them back again.

Progenitor Restoration takes some time. I sent a ticket in November and got them back a month ago. You just have to be patient, a lot of other users stent in tickets and are waiting as well. (I exalted them again, that's why they aren't in my lair).

is there a similar process for having old dragons restored? in the early days of fr i lent a friend my dragon and they exalted her against my will...i still have her id number, her parents, etc.
