What happens if you hatch a nest and you dont have enough room in the lair for the dragons?
I have 9 eggs hatching in 2 days and only 3 spaces. Im low on treasure and the next expansion costs 30,000. Is one of the hatchlings automatically exalted to make room? Are you given more space? Anyone know?

you can't hatch unless you have room, the button won't be clickable.

You can't hatch the nest. It won't let you. (Also- maybe this should be in FR discussion? :) Just saying, this forum is for

Neither, actually! The game only allows you to hatch as many hatchlings as you can hold in your current lair spaces, the other nests are just put on hold (as in you can't hatch them until you have more room) Hope this was helpful! :)

The dragons will begin whispering to their clutch of eggs that the world is not ready to see how amazing they are and then the little hatchlings must wait until told otherwise.
But really , yeah, what everyone else has said. You've gotta make room yourself or the button won't allow you to hatch.
