Yeah. I'd probably call my music taste that. I do obviously have preferences, but the only stuff I don't really listen to at all/enjoy at all are jazz (partially due to not really knowing any jazz musicians lol, and the genre has never really interested me), and mainstream rap, and the reasoning for the second one is the lyrical content, not how the music sounds. Country's rare for me to listen to as well but I do enjoy it, especially since that's one of the music genres I grew up with.

real!! i make monthly spotify playlists to archive my listening trends for this reason. lately i've been staying consistently in the art pop/alternative rock/indietronica/shoegaze region, but a few months ago i was jumping from country pop to hardcore punk to east coast hip hop HAHA

My daily driver playlist literally lists Kordhell and Glass Animals next to each other. And then Mr Kitty next to some metal, Explosions in the Sky, Mozart and... Eminem?
I'm so scatterbrained

Same! I listen to some girliepop music like kpop but then I also listen to metal, which confuses a lot of people I know.

I sometimes send my friends screenshots of my auto-generated playlist on YouTube due to conflicting genres mixing humorously. The one that comes to mind is recently having
I Like Bananas Because They Have No Bones immediately being followed by
Dark Is the Night.
