@Lonesomecowboy @Zawms ugh yeah. I don't have tiktok but I've absolutely heard horror stories about both fandoms on there. It's a shame because both are really good pieces of media, but what's keeping me sane is that a good chunk of bad takes online are made by young people and they'll probably grow up to realize what they're doing wrong. I hope. I know I did some really dumb things online as a teen.

@Lonesomecowboy I've had Hades sitting in my in my steam library for ages but have never been in the right mood to start it. I hope that changes one day because I really love the art direction of the game, its so pretty!

@KarateOdysseyman Yeah good point, a lot of the things I did as a kid I'd rather not relive. A lot of cringey humor.

I really do recommend Hades, the story is great and watching the characters develop is so much fun! Hope you can check it out someday :)

@KalteHerz Yeah I'm definitely enjoying TOTK but the lore is really confusing to me especially because I'm not deep into the Zelda franchise. I'm like where did the divine beasts go? Why is there suddenly a more ancient and more advanced society than the one in the last game? And so many other questions. I kind of wish they just built off what happened in the last game more instead of throwing in all these new elements. And I was also kind of disappointed that Zelda was gone again, I wanted to get to know her character more instead of just in flashbacks.

@Risshou I've been wanting to play Stray for sometime but haven't gotten around to buying it. Hm. Maybe next steam sale I'll pick it up. Also I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you feel better soon!

I'm playing the original Silent Hill at the moment. And by "at the moment" I mean I keep forgetting I'm playing it and going for weeks at a time without a session, LOL.
(It's great, though. Currently, I'd give it a 9, teetering on a 10.)

Also playing ATLYSS. My first severe gaming addiction since I got Balatro earlier this year. My first session I got hooked and spent 8 hours on it. I wish there were more games (that I knew of) where I got to be a kobold! You could probably convince me to buy any RPG by having that as a race option.

I’m currently looking into mods for Stray so I can have a different cat color :) but I adore the original kitty a lot

I recently went back to pokemon shining pearl because I couldn’t beat the elite four and champion the first time. I got so close to winning but Cynthia fainted my last pokemon. Then my switch almost died so I had to take a break. I was on the edge of my seat throughout all the battles though. It gave me a different viewpoint on ILCA making the battles harder which I used to hate.

League of Legends, it won't let me quit playing. I've tried. Other than that, because of the game awards I'm replaying Okami for the 20th time. I also enjoy Pokemon and The Sims and Stardew Valley. I recently picked up Fields of Mistria and I'm really enjoying that one so far!

my friend convinced me to try playing don't starve together and it's truly dawning on me how bad i am at video games as a whole. really really good atmosphere and visuals and general presentation from all that i've seen so far but OW. i am starving. alone. it's okay though i am getting the hang of it and it's fun

also, i've become embarrassingly invested in my singing monsters after playing it briefly on-and-off for a few years. yeah the mobile game. in my defense i've considered myself a fan since i was a kid since it's been around a while and i was obsessed back then on a different account, but only now in my grown age am i truly appreciating it.

i really need to pick disco elysium back up also. and rain world. however my brain is a little fried at the moment and i die so fast in rain world.

Been trying to 100% Monster Hunter World - those crowns are DIFFICULT. I’ve teamed with a friend with the same goal so we can search at the same time for double efficiency but it’s still rough.

Also trying to beat Pantheon 5 in Hollow Knight, also very difficult, Markoth is my nemesis who on earth decided to make his arena like that
