(Apologies if someone's already posted this question! I tried searching for one but came up with nothing so I'm making this post)
So I've gotten a bit obsessed with the 'collect and hoard vast numbers of little guys with basically no limit on how many you can have' genre of games and I'm wondering if there's any other games/sites in the genre? So far the only similar game I know of is Dragon Village Collection and its existence is what's prompted me to see if anybody knows about other dragcave-likes.
A list of dragcave-likes for convenience, just in case anybody else finds themselves in the same situation I'm in:
- Dragon Village Collection (mobile game, dragon based,
link to a thread that explains it better than I can)
- Click Critters (website, general creatures, info on page 1 of thread)
- The Final Outpost (website, general creatures, info on page 1 of thread)

Maybe
Click Critters?
There are over 10,000 critters to collect, there's no limit on how many you can have in your collection, and the variety is pretty massive.
A handful are always currently available, and the rest are long retired, though can still be acquired via other players or Golden Eggs, which are given as prizes for various site activities. This means collecting many of the older retired adoptables can be a bit slow, though still technically achievable.

shameless plug but may i interest u in The Final Outpost, made by mostly dragcave [s]defectors[/s] artists (of which im one of them)
TFO has:
-> all kinds of critters from mammals through reptiles and fish and arthropods (no dragons)
-> a punnett square based gene system, allowing for millions (sometimes even billions) of unique color/trait combinations in the case of some species
-> no limits on adults and stunted capsules/juveniles, tradeable adults
-> a cool scifi questline
it's technically still in beta and currently there's a recode underway, but it's very much playable and i am totally not biased when i say its super cool and one of the only two adoptables i actively play (the other being fr of course)
the site currently has around 50 creature species (and more are being made) but may i draw u in with a selective picking of critters such as:
neon giraffe

have you heard of protochroma? the same concept as tfo/dc but with a different artstyle. Sci-fi, set on a planet called Chroma, it's got breeding, trading, no limit on adults. Over 50 creatures to collect in a variety of colors, every creature has 16 color varieties to collect.
A couple examples of creatures you can collect

Egg Cave is a game where you obtain eggs from a cave and click on them daily to feed them, and after so many clicks, they finally hatch. Even though it's not about constant clicks, Chicken Smoothie is another pet collection game. You simply adopt the pets available each month, and they grow over a period of weeks. Zero maintenance on Chicken Smoothie.
