Oh I LOVE this one! I started playing a bit ago too, and I adore it so far. I have a bunch of neat dragons- my main issue is that I have no clue what's rare and what's not. I know some are super common but I have no clue about the rest.

beastpack on there if anybody wants to say hello, I'm not too far into the game but every so often I check to hatch some eggs and care for my hatchies.

Translation is... sure is something. English isn't absolutely horrible at least.

Another new patch is coming on the 30th with more stuff to do and another monthly dragon.

I also had no idea the monthly dragons led to hidden quests. I swapped to one of my angel cats today and did a questline that got me a little statue for my village. Finding new stuff every day I guess lol.

I'm also trying to breed for the hybrid dragons and one of the dragons I tried to leave at the shelter followed me back home. This game makes it *really* hard to leaving dragons at the shelter man. First it guilted me by having the egg sit there and a little heart fly out of it as your char walks away, and now it had this other one follow me home. Screw it, 300 of the same eggs while I try to breed these 7% odd hybrid dragons. My heart can't take the abandoning animations.

You can usually tell a rarity by looking in the egg market. Eggs range from 100-2,500 egg tokens. The 2,500 one is the god dragon. Rarer dragons are usually like 700 tokens, and extremely rare ones are like 1,700 tokens. But rare dragons are easier to get from the wanderer and once you open evria you get 3 easily each week if you have the crystals for it.

Nice, I'll go check how much my dragons are going for then! Is there no list of rare dragons so I could have an easier time checking who I have? I know there's a google sheets out there of what dragon links to what in Explore, which has been wonderful for remembering who I have (it keeps saying I don't have a Rock Dragon yet?)

Sadly no Evria for me yet. I think I'm around 30 adults atm.

Ooooh this seems fun! Just downloaded it and already got a bunch of little eggs (spicy, valla, alien and wind to be specific)
I'm on the US server and my UN is the same as it is on here if anyone wants to friend me ^^

Also, quick but totally very important question: how easy is it to get at least one breed that looks like a cat as a newbie? I love cats deeply and I know the Dragon Village series has dragons with feline traits so I need to figure out how to get at least one of them lol

You'll get there! They're surprisingly easy to grab and try to be around when the wanderer is, he usually has 3 rare eggs for your to choose from which is really helpful. So is evria.

The monthly special dragon is an angelcat. :) It's bought with gems/premium currency, but if you want I can breed you one of the non-special ones and deliver it to you. Just need to wait for my 2 angelcats CDs to be up.

No worries, I'm happy to do it! I'll let you know when the breeding CD is up so you can let me know when you have space for me to breed and send an egg. You are on the US server right? brain fart, just want to be sure?

Yep! When you breed an angelcat egg, it's a different version than the paid version, but it's still cute! Instead of an orb it floats around with a can of cat food, lol. So that way the paid versions are still unique and fancy, but others can still get access to the less fancy version for their dragon book if they can find someone to trade them an egg. If you're on the US server I'll happily trade you one after I breed one for Amieg.

Breeding has a 5 day CD and I just bred mine I think 3 days ago. So as long as you're both on the US servers, I can send one to Ami first and then 5 days later send one to you Bronzewing. Thankfully I have plenty of Libertes to do egg drops as 1 way trades.

IDK why I like this game so much but I do, lol. It just feeds into my desire to hoard and collect things and also show them off in my village area. I have like a shmorgus borg of rare dragons I can try to breed for people who might need them. I'm just happy to help people who want to get into the game and have fun.
