To be fair Dreamworks went above and beyond to make those characters cute. They even had Bruce Willis and Avril Lavigne in the cast, they knew what they were doing.

The oddest I can think of currently, though, is probably Savannah from Animal Crossing. This isn't even a crush I had when I was younger, this is a crush I have now as I live and breathe. It's also a crush that eats at the fiber and being of my soul because nobody ever makes merch of art of her so I'm forced to sit here alone in my bubble and babble about my ACNH wife incoherently as I give her her forty-sixth copy of K.K. Slider's "I Love You".
