I saw it mentioned on here awhile back and kinda vaguely looked up a video or two talking about it, but I wanna know if anyone here plays it and how you enjoy it!
So yeah, tell me about Lioden because I might end up wanting to play more then I kinda already do. (I love cats and Lions are basically just big ol' cats. ... Right?)

I played it for a solid month before I got bored. I kinda found some stuff tedious and I didn't like how the premium currency couldn't be obtained without paying real money. That's one thing FR does well, gems can be bought for real money but they can also be obtained through other methods.
I guess I just felt pressured into playing, I didn't really find it that fun. That tends to happen with most animal/trading browser games, I get bored of them fast usually. FR is the only exception, and to an extent Chicken Smoothie as well. I play CS really loosely though, I'm not nearly as involved there as I am here.
Hopefully someone who has had more experience with Lioden can tell you what they think!

I think the idea behind the game is really fascinating, but it is kind of lonely. If you don't have friends who play, or don't have tons of time to make a lot of money (beetles) then you are kind of playing by yourself most of the time.
Pros: Lions, really easy to make lore/stories, lots of customization, regular updates
Cons: Lack of community, hard to make money, cliquey

I played it for like a week, got weirded out by a player who offered me a free cub and then made it creepy via RP, and never went back.
My experience was probably not universal. I remember the site having some pretty nice art and a robust exploration system, but I didn't like how many things seemed to be premium currency driven. I also don't care for pet sites where your critters eventually die- even the clothes die on Lioden, every apparel item only had a certain number of uses before it was gone forever.
Basically, I'd rather be playing Flight Rising. :u

I only stayed for a few minutes tbh
The rules seemed too intense and intimidating so I left

I play it currently. It's a very fun. You must be 16+ to play it. It's a lot more random than FR as the cubs you will not always come out looking out like the parents. I would recommend checking out the wiki. Look at the breeding and see if it interest you.
It's like FR with two currency you have Silver Beetles which is like Treasure here. You have Gold Beetles which is like gems. Gold Beetles can be obtained by spending Real money and exchanging it for Silver Beetles like Flightrising you can buy Gems from other users.
Once you start out I would recommend going slow and taking your time.

I love Lioden but... I can't play it any longer (for now). I put a good half a year into the game, and the mechanics aren't compatible with my personality and lifestyle.
See, you roll over manually, and once you do, if you want to maximize your performance for the day (do well, earn food/money, etc.) through dailies and (quarter/semi) hourlies, you are basically handing your whole day to the game - you hunt every half an hour, explore for tiny bits of time ALL throughout the day, as your energy depletes and restores, there is even a mini beetle game (kind of a pet pet, you can breed them too) that you can play every 15 mins.
So basically, I would roll over in the morning, and then due to my personality, try and doo EVERYTHING I possibly can so I would feel like I did my best for the day. Lions are finite, they die, so there is that pressure - get enough lionesses for breeding, maximize your king's stats and get enough stuff through hunting and exploring so you can feed your pride and then sell the rest.
I have never spent a dime on the game, so premium currency is bought by selling basic currency on site. It's easy. But you have to work for it. You can have a smallish pride (10 lionesses max) and send all 10 of them to hunt 10 times, and then sell the food surplus (also the stuff you collect while exploring) and voila - I'd be making a golden beetle per day if not 2.
The game itself is rewarding. But. so. much. involvement. I work a full 40hr week and Lioden is just too much. If I was part time, or not in the workforce, it would have been perfect, as it doesn't get boring - every moth has a different theme - these are events and they are all different, with different mechanics and prizes.
If you roll over in the afternoon, you feel like you lost out on the opportunity to maximize (at least I do). If you roll over and then forget about it, the same, that day is esentially lost. Especially if you have a larger pride and you are mass breeding for certain markings, mutations, etc.

Thanks for the input everyone!
I actually signed up earlier this afternoon and am using the same name as the one I use here! It seems very fun so far, though I can see myself being a very laid back player about it already.
Anyway, yeah! Thanks so much for the input!

i think its pretty fun, i havent played in a while due to limited time but i enjoy it. it can be a little complicated and sometimes it can suck but its okay. im fine with not having all the rare muties and rosette lions bc i dont want to pay [emoji=guardian deadpan size=2] its fun just playing casually though
