@BeingOfSalt yeah, it feels like Evosaur ran into a dead end... I hope that's not the case because the art is beautiful but it's been so long!

Also, Dinosaurs in Space sounds awesome- I love dinosaurs and SciFi, the combination sounds very unique! I'd love a link, please :D

BeastKeeper is a fantasy creature breeding site. Its breeding system is more based in breeding abilities than colors (e.g. trying for a fire breathing dragon or a lightning producing roc) though there are such things as color "deviants" that are very desirable.

It also has, imo, a more flexible and accessible custom skin feature than Flight Rising's.

I have two, actually!

The first is Wajas, it has wolves. It has a lot of somewhat complicated things in breeding, though, like you need to use a special item to breed, and the markings can be different opacities, and there are special colors like rainbow and chrome. Custom gen1s are very hard to get and very expensive, which may be a problem, but it has a couple games and a lot of different markings and accessories, so there’s a lot of variety. Unlike most websites, Wajas allows for use of two accounts, which are usually used as a main Cave and a sales cave, or something similar. There are no restrictions on how you use the second account, aside from official contests(like, if there’s an art contest that’s one entry per person, you can’t use your second account for a second entry)

The second one, Felisfire, is still in beta, but is very interesting! The community isn’t at it’s most active at the moment, but there has been a (somewhat) recent shift in ownership, so a few things are being worked out. Currently, they’re working on art for the markings of a new species. The lineart is amazing, at least in my opinion, and it’s got a science fiction theme, with the story being something along the lines of you being a scientist researching another planet, and there’s a lot more detail but I haven’t kept up with the lore. The main species there are Feli/xenofeli, which are basically alien cats. Much like Wajas, Felisfire has multiple markings as opposed to three genes like Flight Rising does. Custom/g1s are not super difficult to get, and even the “rarest” breed can be easily obtained. The community can be very generous, as last year my secret Santa gift was an egg for the rarest species at the time, which without referring anyone or buying anything, you can only get once(I think). Usually, or at least before the change of ownership, there were plenty of fun games and especially msgs, the most known one being World’s End. However, the community is a bit inactive at the moment, so the forums are a bit dead. I imagine once the site leaves beta, it’ll be back to it’s normal self. There do seem to be plans to leave beta in the future, and I believe most are looking forward to that. Like FR, you get a set of customs to start. Unlike FR, though, you don’t need to make them immediately, you get to choose the markings and colors of them(not the species though, until you get certain items to do that), and you get 6 of them. They’re referred to as your O6, and are similar to progens in that you can not trade, sell, or otherwise transfer them.
Unfortunately, at least while it’s in beta, you do have to write a small application “essay” of sorts, but it’s fairly short and not overly difficult, basically just saying “hey I read the rules”
It’s a pretty fun game, I’d definitely recommend it.

If you decide to join either of them, send me a message with your username and ID and I’ll send some stuff over! Especially if you join Felisfire, as I have quite a collection of items on there that I don’t know if I’ll use.

Oh, is this the one that will be revamped into Beasteon? If so, I already have it on my watchlist but I'll wait for said revamp!

Small community, but it's pretty active and constantly being updated since the new owners took over.

They're lovely people who wanna see the site succeed >:3


Edit: oh hm. Cybura looks like it's doing well enough now to recommend.
I have no idea how it works but I've been keeping an eye on it.

And Khimeros has a similar breeding system to Felisfire. Not quite the same, as you can breed some pet types into a chimera-like pet.

And yeah, you'll need to be approved before you can actually do anything, but when I signed up it only took around a day or so before I got approved, so it shouldn't be too long!

Yeah, that's the one. Haven't heard anything from the devs about the progress on Beasteon, though.

i dont have many good suggestions, goatlings is a fun pet site! there isnt any breeding though

@Shougoney If you are still looking for similar games still in development I feel like Eliyo fits the bill. It has breeding and battling both and is still in beta with a kickstarter set to launch next week! So this would be a great time to grab some rewards as well as help influence the games future development. Pets have different markings and parts as options, and crossbreeding is allowed as well for a lot of variety and variation in offspring.
