i'v never seen a full episode of it, i'v only seen clips. i'v listened to 1999 and i don't know why, but i knew it was a reference to Oobi.

Oh my, it really exists. Apparently, they are from a show called Tiny Planets. I remember nothing either. Not even looking at pictures rings a bell.
But I was right. It looks like REALLY bad CGI.

Dude, I loved that show. The CGI and character designs have... not aged well, though.

Those two weren't that strange from what I remember. Franklin in particular was just a kids' slice-of-life show with anthropomorphic animals, wasn't it? And I do remember the Doodlebops; my parents wouldn't let me watch it.

- The Upside Down Show (same premise, just less music and two British people who looked like Dan Avidan and Seth Everman)
- Between the Lions (that one puppet show with the lions and reading and ****)
- dUUUUDE MISS SPIDER WAS THE **** BACK IN MY DAY but now it's just creepy
- Backyardigans (ANY OF Y'ALL REMEMBER THAT)

Ren & Stimpy was bizzare, it wasnt m a d e for kids but that didnt stop me from watching it.

@LoversMasque: The Backyardigans was amazing you take that back right now. Have you seen the DefunctTV episode on Between the Lions? I didn't watch that one all that often but it seemed like a pretty good educational show. And... you might want to link to a more FR-appropriate meme.

EEnE was one of my biggest special interests as a teenager. I love that show, particularly Double D. You're completely right that its strangeness was different than Ren & Stimpy or Cow and Chicken, both of which creeped me out. I discovered EEnE when I was 14, so it wasn't part of my childhood, and that was a good thing, as I was able to appreciate the witty wordplay and many innuendos. Seasons 2-3 were the best. I just wish that season 3 were on DVD like the first two seasons.

Bing and Bong was a big one for a few years.... Jay-Jay the Jet Plane was another, and man I can't say I miss that at all. Miss Spider was a thing with me for a while, I think, and for the longest time I forgot it existed. Oobi was WAAAY back when I was like, 7 or 8, I think, but I remember that sticking around for a while....
Those are all the weird ones from my childhood that I can remember, but..... I have a younger sibling who loves the PinkFong songs....... a lot.... and there is something insanely unnerving about them in addition to their poor quality. Said younger sibling also watches....... Nanalan.
