Asmundr / Home Fans ? | General Discussion

I've been meaning to post this for a very long time

SO, I am a HUGE fan of the Asmundr / Home comics since the beginning of Home
(I started reading the series when Home was announced to begin)

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's a fantasy graphic novel (comic) about these dogs and basically their life...in Asmundr, they dwell on planet Earth and face off with many conflicts, all revolving around the Shield Wolves, their eventual main threat.

In the sequel, Home, they are on a new and unfamiliar planet, one I won't get into much detail in for those who haven't read it.

These comics are created by Johaan Nordin, previously known as Kique / Johaan-N on deviantArt, though as of now he has left the community and only updates through Patreon or SmackJeeves

It's a beautiful story that I, like many others, adore greatly. Right now, in Home, a new chapter is beginning and gosh am I excited !! Though, I don't have anyone to talk to about it D:

SO, yea ! Are you an ongoing fan of the series ?? Please do share your thoughts on anything about the upcoming chapter or anything at all ;0; I'm so hyped for Saturday, when the first page releases on SmackJeeves <3

Note: If you have not heard of the comic, feel free to go check it out ! But don't scroll down...there will probably be spoilers !!! Asmundr is the first installment to the series, and isn't very graphic / etc, but the sequel Home has sensitive content - if you don't want to see it don't read the comic, since the author has abandoned deviantArt specifically because of the negative feedback of some of the themes in the series :( I don't wanna bring on any new waves of negativity ~ I can assure you it's a lovely and moving story !

I remember reading Asmundr sometime back. It was good, I liked the art and character designs. I haven't read Home yet, but I might when I have time. I don't think I had a favourite character, but do you have one?

I also recall being confused by the part where the dogs (shield wolves) came from the UFO (or returned to it) lol! What did you think about that?

I read both this year. I'm huge fan of both but I kinda stopped reading Home when Johan deleted their DA.

I'm a fan of both despite being a cat person at heart. The art is really pretty, must be the reason why.

I was upset over the death of Zilas, but I'm keeping my hopes up that there will be more feline characters in the upcoming chapters. Jahla is one fine character as well. Never really liked Kainan nor his pups.

Even though Kique stopped using dA, I still read Home from its own website. I really enjoy the fact that we get four pages at a time now! Sure we have to wait for a week for it to update, but the wait is usually worth it!
