My favorite anime would be, hands down, Yu Yu Hakusho. Packed with action and enough content to have a complete story, with a balanced cast of main characters who are all developed as they go through hardships, fighting the baddies, and a strong emphasis on psychology as a key element in all of the fights, it sure does make it for me a no-brainer to include it in my list. It nails when to be fun, and use from time to time some comedy relief to counteract the more serious, mature-toned sagas/chapters later in the series. If you're passionate about Shonen anime, check it out!

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. I don't think it's been mentioned yet. The dragon also has a crush on the human. And there's even more dragons. And everyone's adorable. And it's generally just a hilarious slice of life anime.

I've recently started watching Saga of Tanya the Evil and really enjoy it.
