my random phase lasted from 2013 to late 2015, it was... ugh. i'm so glad i got out of it. it was pretty bad - i said "xD" and "lol" just about every other word.
oh, and then my doctor who phase. i always made stupid references and i was such a nerd about it.. i spent a lot of money on merch and wasted so much time rewatching old episodes + reading fanfic. i was super annoying with it and i just would not stop going on about it... //sighs// just thinking about that phase makes me cringe >.< especially since i don't like doctor who anymore.

Middle school/early high school me was the most embarrassing thing ever lmao.
I was obsessed with Jhonen Vasquez, Pokemon, and Nine Inch Nails (I still like them alot, but not to the... passionate degree I did back then). 95% of my shopping was done at Hot Topic; I dressed in all black, wore spiked cuffs and collars, combat boots, and yes - I owned several pairs of Tripp pants too.

thecorruptedone I love your sig btw. It's been a DECADE SINCE YOUR LAST ALBUM, MAYNARD. P LEASE I'M SO THIRSTY FOR SOME NEW TOOL )

I'd have to say between ages 10-14 were my worst. I was obsessed with anything and everything Japan and anime, and based lots of my OCs off of anime characters (for example, my darling Daisy was a mix of Sailor Moon and Hatsune Miku and Peter, unfortunately, off of a character from Vampire Knight). I also used to use bases and had an art style similar to this:

While I still appreciate and love anime, Vocaloid, and more traditional aspects of Japanese culture, I have moved on and have learned to love things a little less obsessively. I've changed up all of my OCs and am working towards creating the diverse cultures of my world (I'm working on a fantasy book series) by researching and falling in love with my own heritage and other cultures. Also, my art style now looks better than, well, what I linked.

-my phase of absolutely hating the color pink because it was "girly". Well look at me now I'm wearing pink rn when I used to oppose wearing the color lol... And I'm super girly but still kinda a tomboy/tomgirl now... I still wear black most of the time, but add in some pink, I like rainbows and glitter and junk but won't hesitate to draw an edgy black and white gory wolf as vent art.
You know people tell me to decide if I'm girly or edgy and I'm just like idk I'm both, it really depends on how I'm feeling. Give me dem glitter zombies anytime.
But yeah I did have a phase were I hated "girly" colors like pink and purple and only liked dark or muted colors like blue and black. Now both pink and black are my favorite colors so it's a mix of both I guess... Lol.
I just didn't want to be a girly girl because I thought it was generic and I wanted to be unique, and I thought that any girls wearing pink or wearing bows were instantly stuck up high and mighty sassy rich kid snobs. Idk why

Probably my "pop isn't real music" phase. Like, looking back it really doesn't matter what you listen to as long as you like it, and it's not like the bands I listened to (R.E.M. and Green Day, which I still enjoy a fair bit) were super unknown or anything.

MySpace was its own phase and that is literally all I will say about that.
Also, my actual "fight me, Internet!" phase. Oh God.

At least you walked a lonely road and gave it a friend.
my creepypasta phase was literally the worst
people who moan and groan about bad fandoms clearly haven't been in the creepypasta fandom
I can't think of anything... Oh no, wait I got one, high school, my high school was a hell hole. 'faze' sure is cringworthy too.
