i've never had a weeb phase or an emo phase or whatever more widespread phases there are, i guess. i don't think i've publicly embarrassed myself too much either, lol

i tend to be rather obsessive in my interests tho (thx asd), but i'd like to think i'm more humble with my current stuff at least publicly hahahha (thx all-seeing fedya?). i don't know which phase out of these has been the cringiest looking back. owl city possibly... i didn't stick out with my cringiness tho. just the average amount.

on the other hand i feel like my entire life has been cringy tbh

And thinking it now just makes me cringe a lot.

I was a fan, no, I was a FANBOY. You know...That fan that shipped murdered little kids in animatronic bodies, drew horrible Mary-sues animatronics, loved bad edited videos of FNAF and liked to roleplay (yes, roleplay) as the animatronics...

Oh glad I had a time with myself to reflex all of that.

around 3-4 years ago i had this classmate (not even a friend) a year older than me,
i thought she was super cool and she seemed pretty mature for her age..

she got me into stuff like vocaloid and bad anime drawings
to be honest she liked stuff like hetalia and homestuck but i never got into those things.

also i spent a lot of time on Quotev...
quite the cringe
i wanted to just take quizzes at first, but i got into stuff like creepypasta and fnaf
yikes
like i never really acted like the rest of the fandom, yknow..
being edgy and romanticizing killers..
i don't even know if i got really into it, but i started making quizzes based on that.
i was super freaked out by creepypasta stuff though.

I can't remember exactly when this happened, but when I was between 10-12 years old, I was obsessed with Warriors. As in, I read them so much, my parents were "gently" encouraging me to read other books. (They wouldn't let me check out any more Warriors books from the library.) Thankfully, once the first four sagas were over, I couldn't get into Dawn of the Clans, and lost interest. But...yeah. That was probably the worst of it.

Probably my phase of playing Transformice 2012-2014, only because I tried to fit in with popular crowds and it didn't really work.

I'm also going to forget my FooPets phase, because I was not even a teenager on the internet...I wish I could bury all my forum posts there. ;_;

Middle school in general. I was low-key a weeaboo, roleplayed on Animal Jam, thought my art was impressive (spoiler alert: it was terrible), got really into Homestuck (to the point where my friends would actively scoot away when I brought up Homestuck), and would bash people's ocs all while making cringey characters.

oh god I have done so many weird/cringy things in my life now that I think about it. I remember I used to always ask my mom to tie my hair into braids (ye! PLURAL) and I would have all of my hair tied into about 100000 ( it was actually 10 ) braids and I would go around in public looking like that. Now that I think about it...man I was really weird back then

tumblrite phase wasnt as bad but i know a lot of people deeply ingrained in the tumblr+extreme leftist mindset
