Art History :)

I love all of the paintings and sculptures done by the artists in the Renaissance, especially da Vinci.

@mystateofmind Make it a challenge! See how much homework you can do before giving in and coming here, then try to do it a little longer each time, until you can manage to complete your homework before you login.

Either that or try the Pomodoro method and use your breaks here.

@WitchyWriter The thing is my homeworkis never-ending, like as soon as something is done I know there's something more I should be doing, haha.

I think I'll just have to start setting a timer. =P
I'll figure it out I always do when I get addicted to games.

@WitchyWriter ;v;
I know a psychologist who had to have help with her math to get all the way through to her Psy.D.--does that tell you anything?
It sounds like it would be doable, but exhausting and difficult (as I have experienced something like this before in almost the exact same circumstances--I was glad that, that was over, haha...) I would assume that psychologists are groomed to the best of their abilities (read: critical thinking skills, reasoning, interpersonal relationships + communication, etc), and I don't think my skill set is anywhere near where they are currently (in order to assist clients), which worries me, but I understand is also not preventable at the moment because I'm still very young, and inexperienced compared to their development in time + experience, etc. I really hope I'm able to pull through again even though math and I don't mix...at all! :")

College student of six years here! Between working part time, family, and needing to take part time hours, and a few breaks since I first started in 2007. I am finally almost done with my Bachelors, and working to pad my GPA for when I apply to grad school.

My degree is in Cultural Anthropology with a concentration in institutional racism, and a minor in Religious studies of the African diaspora! I love my studies, even if they are hard and it seems like I am frequently running from one thing to another, and begging for sleep somewhere in the middle.

I would love to someday have my Ph.D, do research and teach at the University level... maybe even in my alma mater!

@Megalodonius I did a quick glimpse at MSW and it just seems to need stats, if you can handle that. (Either way you go, I would ask an admissions person or someone in the department, just in case.)

It sounds like you're presently either at the end of high school or just starting undergrad, so you have a long way to go. Bear in mind that you have a long track ahead of you--some schools (like Pepperdine, in Cali) have a blended masters/Psy.D. (or Ph.D.) track that will save you time, while others have them as two separate programs. Also, if you're in the States, most have a requirement of X amount of time spent under the supervision of licensed psych--usually around 1k hours. So you have plenty of time to "get smrt". ;)

hello :3

i go to music school (a "conservatoire"/specialist uni) in the UK.

i was originally doing classical composition, but i realised it's really not for me...

so i went through the internal switching process and now i'm a 2nd year direct entry in electronic music. it's really cool to see that there are other people out there who have switched courses too...

i constantly worry that i'm wasting my money @___@ but i went to the group introductory session on wednesday and the course content seems amazing... i'm still debating on whether i want to completely leave & study illustration instead but that's a big decision to make, so i'm going to do my best at this for as long as i can!

good luck to everyone else with their courses and it's really cool how diverse everyone's fields of study are :>
