Sorry to hear that you're having difficulties! Dragon Cave is a very different style of pet site than something like Flight Rising though, so it's completely understandable that it would be difficult to wrap your head around at first. I'll try and help you understand as best I can...
Dragon Cave is an adoptable game where you collect and breed various pixel dragons, and raise them by getting them views and clicks. There are a few ways you can do this. If you're active on a forum like this one, you can share your eggs/hatchlings by using the BBCode link you can get from their page, or by linking your whole scroll like you've done already.
You could also share your eggs on social media sites, though I don't know how many people use this option or how effective it would be. Then there's click sites, which are a very reliable way to get views and clicks for your eggs while sharing them with others. Which way you choose to grow your eggs will come down to personal preference, and you'll figure out your preferred method with time.
In answer to you question of how I find where to click (I assume you're asking about hatching eggs): I keep an eye out for eggs or hatchling in people's signatures, and give them a click when I see them. I also use The Allure of Neglected Dragons as my main click site, though I don't click the eggs there so often and usually just leave it open to auto-refresh in another tab. You see, clicks aren't nearly as important to egg/hatchling growth as views are, which might not be obvious at first.
Dragons also take a certain amount of time to hatch and mature, for instance no matter how many views or clicks an egg has, it won't hatch until it says it has 4 days or less left until death. You can reduce the amount of time it takes using a Red Dragon, as they have the Breed Specific Action "Incubate" which removes a day from the timer of an egg. There are a lot of hand BSAs like this, which are worth looking into as a new player.
One other thing that's worth mentioning: eggs and hatchling can die. The first was they can die is by not getting enough view to hatch or grow up, but that's relatively unlikely to happen if you're sharing them in you signature or on a click site. What's more likely to happen, especially to a new player, is for your eggs to get sick and die from getting too many views too quickly. This is most likely to happen to an egg with more than six days remaining on its timer, so a good way to be safe an prevent this is to not share your eggs anywhere until like 12-24 hours after you get them from the cave. If an egg or hatchling does get sick, you will get a warning at the top of your scroll, and you can use the Hide action on the sick egg/hatchling to stop it receiving views/clicks so that it can recover. I recommend hiding or "fogging" sick eggs for about 24 hours to ensure they won't get sick again.
There are a couple of other ways dragons can die, but you have to actively do something to make those happen so I won't go into those here.
Okay, that's an extended explanation of the basics of growing your dragons, sorry if it was a little long. So, what do you actually do on Dragon Cave other than grow your dragons? Well, you can breed them! Most dragons can breed with any other type of dragon, though there are some subcategories like pygmy dragons, two-headed dragons and drakes that can only breed with others in their same subcategory. A lot of DC players find appeal in breeding lineages of dragons, like really big, multiple generation ones or ones that make cool or pretty patterns. For an example of what I mean, here and here are some dragons I got from other players with some cool looking lineages.
If you're not interested in that, you could always just focus on collecting all the different kinds of dragons. There's hundreds of them, and a lot of them are really cool and have awesome pixel art. You can only have a few eggs and growing dragons at a time when you start out, but as you collect more and get trophies the number you can have will increase, which makes collecting easier.
I hope this overly wordy explanation helps you get a better understand of how Dragon Cave works and what the appeal is. I also reccomend the Dragon Cave help page or the DC Forums as good places to check out if you're confused about anything else. Feel free to ask me as well if you need any more help.
I hope you enjoy your time on Dragon Cave!
