Hi ! I am looking for a female staterae, I can not get one! I have golden wyverns, golden dragons, and plenty of other dragons, I know staterae are expensive! But I have absolutely no idea how to make the egg so expensive to buy. If anyone can do a trade I'm interested if I can get you what you want!

@Pestilential
Hello!
Stateraes are pretty hard to come by as CBs, at the moment they rank as rare if not rarer than CB golds. They are also quite tricky to breed since they count as Xenowyrms and as such do not breed true but can result in a wide number of Xeno variations before you manage to get a Staterae (note: All Xenowyrms can give you Staterae eggs as a result from breeding).
You might want to try and regularly check the trading page or see in this forum thread here (which specializes in trading rare dragons outside of metals) or this other thread here (which trades metals for other rares).
Good luck on your search!

Just started playing today! Any tips? Could I go with a specific aesthetic or should I just collect all of them?

Welcome to the Cave!
For some tips and basic knowledge of game mechanics you can reference this post [here.]
Regarding collecting dragons: you can absolutely do what you want! New dragons come in every month and there's already around if not more than 250 breeds to explore and collect. There's lots of people who collect specific breeds because of sprite preference.
Personally I would advise you to try and get all simply to have a completed Encyclopedia (3 adults per breed unlocks the shadow for the dragon, but you can also unlock them by viewing dragons on other people's scrolls) and because the spriterd are all phenomenal, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to play it your way!
If you happen not to like a breed you can trade it away (only eggs or hatchlings) or free it in the wilderness (hatchlings and adult dragons) to remove dragons from your scroll.

Should I trade my Luna Herald for an Avatar of Change? Is it fair?
Should I trade my Luna Herald for an Avatar of Change? Is it fair?
@Iceryuu
Personally I'd consider gen or how the lineage is built (for the avatar) and colour for the herald (golds and bronzes are usually rarer since their time window is split and so they're harder to find as CBs).
Though all 4 variations are quite rare so if it's not a trade you're actively looking for I'd suggest waiting/keep looking, heralds are usually in high demand so you could find someone wanting to trade for something rarer?
Obviously if you like the Avatar do trade for it! The rarity "level" can vary regarding of its parents but they are both regarded as rare breeds.

Just dropping in to say that I snagged a Lunar Herald (my favorite breed) from the abandoned cave, and I am very happy.

Please help me raise my Dragon Cave hatchlings and hatch my eggs by viewing and clicking on them. :D (A big thank you to everyone who has already helped!)
