So I was wondering somthing while watching someone play Xenoblade chronicles, and that being how did Heropon riki get his scar. My current idea is the he got it while fighting an orulga or Makna ansel. What do you guys think I would love to know.

So I was wondering somthing while watching someone play Xenoblade chronicles, and that being how did Heropon riki get his scar. My current idea is the he got it while fighting an orulga or Makna ansel. What do you guys think I would love to know.
He's the Heropon. He probably got into lots of fights with creatures in the Makna Forest.
Probably an Ansel, as one Nopon NPC hints that they do hunt them. Or maybe an Eks?

I mean, they have blades on their hooves, so even a minor attack would probably scar.

This is very interesting, and despite me playing Xenoblade around 6 times, I never stopped to consider how Riki got his scar. Everyone's ideas so far are exactly what I would of said. Makna Forest is a dangerous placeI'd know, I am the Bionis after all and although Nopon are perfectly capable of fighting (Riki is evidence, and plus they used Pterix to fight) they are still small and not the strongest of creatures compared to the rest of the creatures dwelling in Makna Forest. It is perfectly reasonable to think he was hunting or trying to tame a Ptertix or something along those lines. :>
