I just downloaded Paint Tool SAI and I figured that I would just have to uninstall and reinstall the Driver for my tablet so I did that. But when I opened SAI back up, it wouldn't respond to my tablet pen. It responded to the mouse and my tablet worked fine elsewhere but it just would not do anything in SAI! So idk if it's cuz of my tablet or the version or whatever but I would really like to use it sometime at least. My tablet is a UGEE tablet if it helps. Thanks guys, I'm just so tired of this today

Sometimes SAI is just a butt. You might have to restart your computer or something?

That usually fixes it for me.

Well I had to restart it before cuz something jacked up my mouse, then when I did the Driver thing it had to reboot the system twice but idk. (Does it make a difference if it's the *coughcough* free version?)

When you open SAI, make sure you do it with the tablet, and not the mouse. That's an issue I was running into.

Is it just a regular UGEE tablet, or their tablet monitor? @NotCalifornia

Can you explain what the difference is? I'm pretty sure it's just a regular tablet, I don't remember it saying anything about a monitor (I think it was UGEE Graphics Tablet or something)

The tablet monitor is basically a knockoff Cintiq haha. That's the one I have. I had a lot of issues using SAI with it as well, but not quite the same issues you seem to be having. Were you unable to get the cursor to move at all, or would it just move slowly/only on half the screen?

Not really the same issue/fix, but my pen pressure in SAI won't work for me unless i open SAI first, THEN plug my tablet into the computer and turn it on. If I plug in/turn on before SAI is open, pen pressure won't work, then I have to restart my computer. T_T it's such a pain...

Lol sounds about right, my dad got it for me. Like it won't move at all. The blue light on the tablet lights up like I'm using it but the cursor doesn't move unless I'm using the mouse.

Hmm. What I tried was going into Program Files, and then SAI's folder. In there somewhere is a file called 'misc.ini', which you should be able to open with Notepad or a similar program. I believe here I changed "TabletMouseSimulation = 0" to "TabletMouseSimulation = 1". If it wasn't that one, it was one of the similar tweaks. Unfortunately I'm not at my own computer right now so I can't just look it up and tell you for sure, but I'm pretty sure that's what fixed it. D:
