Woot! Non binary thread ! Hello everybody!

My name's Alicia...or Alex if you want to use my male name, it's probably ten times easier to remember xD

I've personally have been aware I was genderfluid for almost a year now. I go by both he/him and she/her pronouns. Lately I've been leaning toward male :)

Ahh thank you! :D

Alicia is actually my birth name, decided to keep it because I couldn't think of any other female names that would suit me xD

@TheMorningStar

Ha, funny, my birth name is Alice and we have the same gender/pronoun identity. xP

I don't have anything against it, but I've been going by Lesley as a nickname online and IRL for so long that I sometimes forget what I started out as. I also rather like it because it's unisex and I can be a tease about my real gender. >3

@Lesley

Haha, what a funny little coincidence xD

Lesley is a good name! I don't normally use my real names online unless I'm fully comfortable with the site. In which case on FR I definitely am. So many accepting people :)

Hihi. I'm Puhff, the magically infectious dragon. I am also: 29, autistic, ADHD, bipolar, disabled, aromantic, queer/pansexual, Canadian, Wiccan, a nerd, owned by two cats, and been into goth subculture since I was 13.

And yeah, I'm nonbinary. :) Also transitioning FTM. My definition of trans is essentially "anyone who isn't cisgender," meaning I also identify as trans. I am cognizant of the fact that many nonbinary folks do not identify as trans for many different reasons, and I respect this in part through not referring to individual nonbinary people as trans unless I know they consider themselves such.

Best label I've ever encountered for my gender identity is femme. It was the first label that ever fit properly, and the oldest one to stick. How I came about that is important to me and to why I still identify that way, but trying to keep this post short haha. I'll just state it was a group adaptation effort, through discussions on a forum, and that I was an active participant--not a term I adapted myself.

Additional labels I have come to identify as include: trans guy, genderqueer, genderpunk, bigender, demiboy, and NaN0boy. I don't identify as genderfluid, but I do identify with the concept and many genderfluid experiences. I like to specify my usage of bigender with a prefix, such as static or simultaneous.

I'm Out as trans to everyone in my life, both online and off, and I live as visibly-Out as I am able. Folks who desire medical transition in my province must engage with a specific process beginning with a provincially-approved specializing psychiatrist, of which there is only one at this time. My disabilities (largely summed up under the umbrella of executive dysfunction) make this already lengthy process take longer, so although I started seeing the requisite specialist in January of 2014 I have yet to obtain even HRT (to be clear: it is my disabilities roadblocking me, not the doctor.)

I'm Out as specifically nonbinary to a lot of people. Online I am invariably Out as both trans and nonbinary, although when discussing the general subject I only include that I am also the latter if I feel it pertinent to the conversation. Offline interaction is much more complex, varied, and potentially draining, resulting at times in the concession of specific points and specifically tailored presentations depending on who/where/when/my spoons/etc. My pronoun preferences grew directly out of this mess. ;P

My pronouns are ne/nem/nir/nemself, ze/zan/zir/zenself, or he/him/his/himself; case usage for both the ne-set and the ze-set are in direct line with common case usage of he/him/his/himself. I, uh, didn't intend to end up with three. Autisticbrain complete with sensory/stimming stuff is a big part of how I got here though. And other stuff. This is too long already, so I'mma end this now.

I'm actually most feminine presenting b u t omg not for much longer im gonna get my senior photos taken and then my hair is gone im tired of looking like a girl. even if its cute. its exhausting.
