What is Pokémon Coliseum?
Beyond a Gamecube title, it is a challenge for all Pokémon Trainers. Here, you will emulate the game by fighting Gym Leaders before continuing on to the Elite Four. Occassionally, those who complete both tiers will receive a prize! These change based on what I and other members are able to contribute and/or acquire. Prizes will be posted here.
Are there any rules?
Of course! There are rules for both Gym Leaders and Elite Four members as well as participants. They include the following:
•Species Clause - A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team. Example: You cannot have to Infernapes on one team.
•Sleep Clause - A player can only have one Pokémon asleep at a time (Pokémon using Rest do not count). Example: Your opponent's Pikachu is already asleep. You cannot put another one of your opponent's Pokémon to sleep.
•Evasion Clause - A Pokemon may not have the moves Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
•OHKO Clause - A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
•Legendary Clause - Legendary Pokémon are not allowed on a Team. This includes Arceus, Mew, Mewtwo, ect.
•Challengers or Members of Pokémon Coliseum must submit proof of battle. This could be a Battle Video, Youtube Video, or any other forms of proof, such as a picture with a timestamp of Victory or Defeat. This is to ensure that everyone plays fair and to allow people to properly receive their Badges.
•Be respectful! I cannot stress this enough. Anyone caught being spiteful in any manner will be banned from participating and you will be added to the List of Shame.
•Party Limit Clause - Challengers are only allowed 10 Pokemon to participate in the Pokémon Coliseum. This includes the 6 Pokemon for a full team and 4 extra Pokemon to switch a party Pokemon with.

Can I fight them in any order?Yes, except for the Champion to keep some tradition. Remember though, that these are real people with real lives. They will battle you when they can.

What game can I use to participate?
Currently, we are only accepting challenges form those that own Pokémon X or Y. Any other games will be denied the ability to challenge the Pokémon Coliseum. However, GameFreak usually releases a game annually. I will post if any future/past games will be allowed to take the challenge.
