Still severely struggling with poor sleep quality (I *just* realized I even made my update notes in the wrong guide, omg) but I managed to complete part 1 of the update! Namely:
  • Finally turned off the NotN season from 2022 (er, oops)
  • 2023 Warrior's Way enemy data has been added (except the AI)
  • Sandswept Delta enemies are now listed as lv9, and the Crowned Bonepriest has been removed from the venue
  • Silk-Strewn Wreckage enemy data has been added (except the AI)

Still working on AI for the new venue. Sorry about the wait, I've never had jetlag this bad before. I guess my age is catching up to me.

@Sylvandyr

Have you also changed the stats for the former Level 10 Sandswept Delta enemies?

For example, Greatshell has now

STR 24 / DEF 19 / INT 5 / VIT 24 / AGI 12 / QCK 12 / MND 17 instead of

STR 30 / DEF 20 / INT 5 / VIT 26 / AGI 15 / QCK 12 / MND 20

@Maki - Oops, I didn't even think about those, thanks for pointing it out! I went through and checked and actually almost every Sandswept Delta enemy had stat changes, including the seasonal ones. They were mostly stat nerfs including some notable VIT and QCK ones, but for some reason Shattered Serpent was weird and gained +1 VIT.

I pushed up the changes to the tool, but I'll hold off on the big ping until I finish the Silk-strewn Wreckage AI.

Hey everyone, I'm summarizing a big-ish update to the data! Most of the changes were in there earlier during the month, but I didn't want to do the ping until I finished checking on the enemy AI (which lets you select enemies as an attacker with the appropriate skills in Calculator mode).

Here's what updated:
  • Warrior's Way 2023 enemies were added to the tool. I'm missing the AI for now; we can get that next year unless someone remembers and can tell me which enemies were contuseMeditate and which were scratchShred. (It's usually apparent from the stats but I can't assume, because for example the cauldron has super low STR but actually has Scratch.)
  • Sandswept Delta enemy levels and stats have been updated to reflect the new lv9 venue restrictions. Crowned Bonepriest was also removed from the venue.
  • Silk-Strewn Wreckage enemies were added.

Thanks for the patience! :)

New year, new NotN enemies! Working on adding them to the tool. I got a new computer, so I have to set up my environment and such so that I can publish the code. Sorry for the delay!

Update Dec 20: I'm still working on this, I got hit by a double whammy of a new computer and code deprecation that I kept forgetting about - so I have the data already working locally but I have to rewrite a lot of things to publish it for online usage. :/ That's what I get for deciding not to not put the data into an actual database so so many years ago. This update could've been done with just a quick insert. That said, the outdated code needed to be addressed eventually, so it's not all bad.

Update Dec 22: I'm close to finishing the rewrite. I've worked through about 5,000 lines of code and blasted away some very ancient stuff. ^^; I opted to take my time because although the NotN update would be nice to have on time, the calculator update isn't super crucial for viewing high level STR thresholds (only one new Kelp Beds + Forbidden Portal enemy). I would rather have more stable code moving forward instead of rushing in a hack with legacy compatibility code. I also think it will be much more exciting to ping people (and advertise the new ping list) once I have the new version deployed. :)

Update Dec 27: Done with the rewrite. Just need to figure out how to safely deploy the new version now. (This integration bit is the most risky part so I'm going to be careful about it.)

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay with the NotN update; the 2023 data should now be in the tool! I've got a few additional notes for you:

1) I'm going to retire the legacy ping list in favor of FR's new built-in ping list feature. This will be the last time that I use the old list. If you want to be pinged for future updates, please sign up for the new FR ping list! :)

2) If you're wondering why the update took so long, it's because I went through about 10,000 lines of very ancient code (seriously, 10 years old kind of ancient) and updated the whole project to use modern technology. So many things did not exist back then. ^^; 90% of the project needed to be rewritten.

After doing this, I decided to change my web host. This means that the tool's link will be changing. Please update your bookmarks to this new link! I'll be leaving the old, non-updated tool up for people who haven't gotten the memo, and in the next few days I hope to add a message on the legacy tool that links to the new one, so that no one gets lost.

If you notice any bugs introduced by the new version, please let me know. I tested a lot, but I may have missed something.

Thanks everyone, and happy NotN. :)

Thank you for the update [emoji=guardian happy size=1]
Thank you for the update
Hey all, so I updated the tool with a few things:

Enemy Requirements Mode cleanup:

I felt like there were a lot of extraneous columns in this mode, so I tried to clean up each zone and only include skill combinations that I think people would use more frequently. I also tried to make the columns sort in a more intuitive order.

Please let me know if I removed any values from a zone that you use very often.

In working on this, I also discovered a display bug that was showing incorrect values, e.g. there was a column for the Mire that said it was a requirement for Rally + Scratch x25 and that wasn't correct, haha. It should be fixed now.

Dark Mode theme:

I added a theme for people whose devices are set up to prefer Dark Mode. I tested quite a lot on my own and picked colors that I think work together, but please let me know if anything is hard to read.

---

Let me know if there are any other issues. Thanks everyone! :)

Hi everyone! I updated Enemy Requirements Mode to display bosses separately. They should also have more useful skill KO combinations now that they're in their own table (below the regular enemies, if there are any bosses in the venue). Also, Enemy Stats mode now lists the bosses at the bottom so that they're easier to find (same table for Stats Mode; regular enemies are sorted alphabetically there).

Still on the to-do list but not until later: I want to add Shred, Elemental Slashes, Contuse, and Elemental Ultimates as options for skill combinations for the bosses and for regular enemies in some niche farming locations such as Golem Workshop. You'll notice that for many of the higher level bosses I added a Rally Eliminate (no Scratch) option; that's cause some fodder trainers have Meditate or Anticipate as their Breath stone. Realistically, though, it's not gonna be all Eliminates for them (Shred for sure should be mixed in for high health bosses, as it does the most damage for the Breath amount if it ticks the full time - even more breath-efficient than a 2x effective elemental slash!). Anyway, that can be added later. Hopefully right now it's still useful enough. :)

I tested a LOT but if there are any issues please let me know! :)
