Selling to other Players via the Auction
There are items in the game that you'll make more money selling on the Auction house than you will selling in your hoard. These are clothing items, food, familiars, golden chests, skins, and items used to unlock hibernation den spots. You will also find dragons for sale there. These dragons could be super special ( Special birthday, colors, leveled dragon ) or they could be sold to be fodder.
Auction Prices are normally determined by the lowest-priced item of the same kind. Sometimes the item you sell could be so rare it is the only item of its kind on the AH. I would ask more experienced players what they think the value of said item/dragon is.
Note: Fodder is the term used for dragons who will be exalted i.e killed/sent to battle. Adult dragons who are sold at the lowest treasure price are normally considered fodder.
Selling to players via the Forums
On the forums, there are many categories where people are selling a variety of art, items, services, or experiences. Normally they will have you pay by attaching money to a PM (Private Message like this) or via One Way Crossroads. I've sent you money both ways for you to see. They should have their payment method listed on their thread. Here are some examples of things being sold on the forums:

Raffels |

Quick Selling in your hoard
Quick Selling items in your hoard is the quickest but least efficient way to make money unless you are grinding the coliseum. My recommendation is to only Quick Sell items that have no purpose other than to be sold as junk.
How I Quick Sell is I go to the "Materials" or "Other" tab and under the "Used in Features" I select the "None" Option. This will show you items that essentially have no purpose other than to be sold quickly.
Disclaimer: Some items you will use to trade in the Grand Exchanges rotation of shops ( like
Susie's Sweet Sentiments ) will not be listed as needed for trades unless the shop is open. There are guides/spreadsheets that will tell you what these items are if you can't remember them to save them from quick selling.
Things to
never quick sell:

- clothing
- familiars
- skins
- Baldwin Materials
- Items that unlock hibernation spots
- Genes
- EGGS
