First, if you were him, I’d say it’s time to gauge how badly you need this exact dragon dragon in your life. There are ways, but they’re a commitment! "WHY DOES MY DRAGON LOOK LIKE THAT" / WHAT IS A GENE?
- - - - - - - - - - - -

I've been asked what makes a color look shiny and special, like Pumpkin's wings!

It depends on what genes the dragon has, which you can see if you go to its page and scroll to the little "Physical Attributes" tab. "Basic" is one kind of gene, which makes the primary and secondary genes one color, and the tertiary invisible. Other genes make the colors look different and add patterns to the dragon.

The example dragon!

At some point, all dragons were Basic / Basic / Basic, until genes were added to them in the form of items, and then those genes were passed on to their offspring.
Primary Gene: Petals Secondary Gene: Safari Tertiary Gene: Capsule

WHAT ABOUT THE EYES?
- - - - - - - - - - - -
The dragon's Eye Color is determined by the Elemental Flight in which it was born, and the Eye Type is determined by pure chance and not by genetics.
