I usually do g&g on hard which i can max in 10-15mins and i haven't tried this guide, so maybe that's a stupid question, but doesn't it take super long to clear one game until residue, then open the solver to check the boxes there as well, see what you have to do, then clear your g&g game?

Not really. I'm not that fast, but clearing a stage with this guide takes me between 30 and 45 seconds, usually. It's really nice.
(In comparison, the way I used to do hard, clearing one stage took me between 10 and 20 seconds (roughly))

Just tried the solver and now I'm 75kt richer. The first one was kind of hard and then BAM, it clicked.
Thank you for making an easy guide! I'm going to be making SO MUCH more treasure now.

Not sure if it's just me, but for some reason- on my mobile phone at least- the board has become bigger and now I have to scroll to either side to see all the tiles.

I love the nice new magic tiles you've added! But yeah, the board stopped fitting on the screen on mobile for me as well :(

Pings are cool! It's @sqld, with a lowercase L, not @sqid. | --- |

I have a quick announcement to make about the solver site! Thanks to some awesome feedback and ideas from @marropo (thank you!), there have been a few accessibility improvements! These changes will persist throughout reloads (until you clear your localStorage, at least), so you only need to set them once! There are a few more in the works too, but I haven't had time to implement them yet.
Here's what's new:
@sQld @kwozmotis Whoops! That one's on me for not testing thoroughly enough, and expanding the board when I didn't need to... I've reverted that change, and now the size of the board now only increases when stars are selected, when hexagons are selected it'll be the size it was originally. This should enable you to use it on mobile just like before, apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for letting me know!
Here's what's new:
- The clickable area for each checkbox is now ever so slightly larger! This should make it a little more forgiving, especially for mobile users.
- A color slider was added, allowing you to choose between the original Red or the new Blue for the tiles that you need to click! This aims to create a more distinct difference between the regular tiles on the board and the tiles that you need to click.
- Similarly, by clicking on the "Symbol: <hexagon symbol that I can't work out how to get on the forums>" below the board, you can switch between hexagons and stars for the target tiles! This also aims to help differentiate between the tiles that need to be clicked and those that don't.
Note: Selecting stars does increase the size of the board! This may make the site less mobile-friendly. The reason for this is that the star character is wider than the hexagon character, so the board has to expand to accommodate it.
