Ooh, this is pretty neat.

I use a pretty similar build, with 62 quick instead of 70. I prefer to start off with two meditates in a row, then haste/rally/defend, and the turn order works better with the slower speed (enemies attack all at once on the turn you're defending). I also use shred instead of sap since more useful for bosses and potions are better for healing anyway.

What's the turn order like with 4-enemy groups at 70 quick? With 62 it's kind of... slow.

@Kasael

I sometimes use double meditates against 3 mages, that way I am defending when the enemies attack (they have to charge on their first turn, so I don't take damage, but melee enemies will be able to hit me). This build has more Vit than some, but that doesn't mean I want to take more damage than I have to.

As for the groups of 4... The only group I take damage on is the one with the...
Pronghorn Stomper
Infestation Hound
Carrioncorn
Lux Spectre

The rest I can beat without taking damage. This one damages me because it's 3 melee enemies, and their speeds are about the same, so they go on the same turn. I only have time to take out 2 of them (I leave the hound since it deals less damage ;) ).

Because I have a higher speed, I get 2 moves before they go, and 2 moves after they go, so I can kill them in one go.

I will say, I can start on anything that's not a boss. However, due to the nature of the build, I do need to refresh if I miss my eliminate in the first battle or two.

I tend to like starting on and fighting against groups of 4 because of the additional EXP for it only take one extra turn.

Let me know if you'd like a tincture to try out the build, I can send you one for a discount.

@Mohenjo

That's good to know about 4-enemy groups, they're much more common in the Ruins than in the Mire (my usual training ground) and it is definitely a little less optimized with less QCK.

That being said, I do always like to double meditate because I can't stand restarts from misses, so I think I'll stick with the slower speed. 70 is probably the way to go for most people though.

I can agree the misses are annoying. I just prefer to use a single meditate so I take 200-300 less damage. You build adds that much additional HP by giving up some Qck, however, you will take more than that the next time (assuming you have my luck and the enemies target your trainer more than fodder lol).

I choose 70 Qck because it's 100 Qck with Haste, and that allows me to go twice before the enemy, and that's pretty great.

Edit: I almost forgot, I don't usually use sap, but it does come in handy if I feel like taking on a boss and actually win, I can use it to not die to the next battle. Or, I use it if my luck is to have every enemy target my trainer. It's not very needed, but it can come in handy.

@DreamSlayer
Yep, it's made specifically for the Ghostlight Ruins, and it works very well. Leveling 2 fodder takes the same time here as it does in the Mire (or it does with my builds).

hm, this is interesting! i never considered meditate + elim combos before. now that i think about it, it makes sense. i'm training my mire flyer/general farming team currently, but if i ever get a spare eliminate i'll try this out. bookmarking!

I really enjoy your Leviathan Leveler build (it convinced me to use the Kelp Beds as a fodder venue sometimes) and something I like is how smooth the setup process is after having to reset or swapping out fodder.
Lately I've been a bit annoyed at how often I have to reset in the Ruins, and then even more annoyed at how many resets it takes to get a good pack with the standard Scratch-based trainer. This build should allow me to be less picky about starter packs, while also being a bit tankier.
I'll restat my Ruins Raider and try out the build. If I like it, I'll restat my Mire Flyer to your Mire build as well. Thank you for making these builds!
