Hello all,
I was thinking about the occurances of certain dragon colors and why I can never find the ones I am seraching for. As I couldnt find any recent statistics I made my own.
I did some searches and counted how many times different colors show up as primary, secondary or tertiary colors. If anyone is interested Ill link to the spreadsheet.

Here are the results. (All data was gathered today 25. february 18 - sorry for the server load - oops?)

All of the most occuring colors are the ones found on the color wheel BEFORE the expansion so that certainly plays a role. Ill play more with the data later because there are some really interesting things to see.

@sparr0w Sadly, if there is a way I dont know about it. I just used the search function and it doesnt offer those kinds of filters. The most often found colors are all OLD colors from before the color wheel update here: [img]https://i.imgur.com/8uI2T2M.png[/img] But if I discard any old colors the most occuring are those: [img]https://i.imgur.com/gPuJNhJ.png[/img] Those newer colors did pretty well for themselves going by the numbers though. Maybe admins would be able to give us something closer to what you would like to see if we bug them enough? :))

@SecretGardens I counted active dragons as is their definition by the site, which means anything not exalted that may or may not be fed.
And I agree with you, I would have loved to filter out the gen ones if that was possible.

Where are you looking for this data? Cos if you're looking in the AH, most of the fodder dragons on sale are most likely colors their owners don't like. At least that's how I do it.

@Moondragon007 As mentioned in the first post I used the search function. Which means that its not exactly a popularity contest but more of a how common some colors are compared to others.
