TOPIC | [Guide] Rule the Runestones of Arcanist
There are many ways to earn 75kt a day, but I've found the Runestones of the Arcanist is the easiest, fastest, and least boring way. Bonus, since it's a memory game, maybe it's helping train the brain to have better short term memory (haha but doubt it). I've read a lot of good guides about Fairgrounds, but none seem to specialize in Runestones and they often underestimate the treasure gotten. So, after having had Dominance the very second week I joined FR, I played Runestones like a crazy person and as a result, got to expand my lair from Lesser to Mighty. Along the way, I came up with some tricks that work well for grinding there. To see just the Runestones guide, go straight to guide. To see the 75kt process that involves Fairgrounds only, keep reading. Step 1 - Go to Higher or Lower (also in Fairgrounds) and usually get 1,000t out of that easy. How easy? You just have to remember the dreaded math and think about basic probabilities. At first glance it looks like you have a 50/50 shot at guessing if the number is higher or lower, but that is deceiving. I'm pretty sure your options are only 1-13 so go with whatever will give you the highest chance. Any number they display 2-6 --> I always choose higher, and any number they give 7-12 --> I always choose lower. After you're done, make note of when you can play again and interrupt your Runes time to play it, and then go back. Step 2 - Go to Baldwin to transmute 1 item - this gives you a reference for how long you've been grinding and gives you a material in the process. Usually I like to do around 30 minute sessions which is how long it takes to transmute something. After your 30 min session is up, you should have around 21kt (counting Higher or Lower too). Step 3 - Finally! Go to Runestones and let the grinding commence! Some Fairgrounds guides say you can only make 1,700t in 8 levels, but that's a low estimate. I always make about 2,000t going from Level 1 through Level 8. Random note: I find it's less distracting to turn off the music/sound effects and just play your favorite classical/non-vocal music in the background. Step 4 - Take a break for your hard work and rinse and repeat whenever you feel need the treasure :) [br]

Ruling the Runestones Guide Basics - Runestones is a memory game where you match the same symboled stones together, ex. Water and Water. Clicking turns over a stone and you can click 2 stones before it has a slight delay. Once you match all runestones together, the level ends and you get a bonus for how much time you have left over. Here is an image of all the different runestones you'll encounter levels 1-8. As long as you do the same approach every time and don't overload yourself with info, you will be awesome at it. Below are just examples of my approach and what works for me. See what works for you! My Approach - I always start left to right, top to bottom. I also only tackle 4 stones in a column before going to the next row. Here is an example of what I'm talking about (number represent the order in which I turn stones over): My strategy - I try to remember the order of the first 4 stones and compare the next row of stones to those. As soon as I find one matches, I click on the pair. Of course, vaugely remember the 2nd row, but try to for sure remember the first. Sometimes it helps to keep saying the 4 stones out loud, sometimes it slows me down. Try whatever works for you! Keep going down the rows like this until you've matched all your stones. Example: If row 1 stones were left to right: Water, Ice, Fire, Chaos, I would remember that order and go to row 2 and if those ended up being Nature, Earth, Fire - I would click both Fires and keep going to the 8th stone. If row 3 was Arcane, Light, Shadow, Earth - I would click both Earths and keep remembering the original 3 left (Water, Ice, Chaos). Markers - if you can get to around 1.0-1.1kt by the end of Level 6, you are in good shape for getting the next 1kt from Levels 7 & 8. For higher levels like 7 & 8, having at least 30 seconds left for the time bonus usually gets you there. If you really want the detailed breakdown, here it is below. Just remember if you get less than these but 1-1.1kt by the end of level 6 you'll still be fine for about 2kt. [br] Level 1 - earn 86t (average) and up Level 2 - earn 122t (average) and up Level 3 - earn 168t (average) and up Level 4 - earn 213t (average) and up Level 5 - earn 248t (average) and up Level 6 - earn 330t (average) and up Level 7 - earn 402t (average) and up Level 8 - earn 431t (average) and up If you earn at least these averages, total = 2,000t in 3 mins Hope this was helpful! It's what I've followed since I was new to get a lot of dragons, genes, and lair expansions. Good luck and hope you become a runestones ruler too!

General Strategy - be systematic and don't take on too many to remember at one time. As long as you do the same approach every time and don't overload yourself with info, you will be awesome at it. Below are just examples of my approach and what works for me. See what works for you!

My Approach - I always start left to right, top to bottom. I also only tackle 4 stones in a column before going to the next row. Here is an example of what I'm talking about (number represent the order in which I turn stones over):

My strategy - I try to remember the order of the first 4 stones and compare the next row of stones to those. As soon as I find one matches, I click on the pair. Of course, vaugely remember the 2nd row, but try to for sure remember the first. Sometimes it helps to keep saying the 4 stones out loud, sometimes it slows me down. Try whatever works for you! Level 6 - earn 330t (average) and up
Level 7 - earn 402t (average) and up
Level 8 - earn 431t (average) and up

If you earn at least these averages, total = 2,000t in 3 mins

yknow, it always baffles me when people say you can't make money with runestones. you just have to be able to remember stuff.

oh, and take breaks. i find that if i do more than eight or so, they start blurring together and i can't remember where anything is. you could do stuff like finally bond with all your familiars while your brain chills out.

Also every level it goes up, so gives lvl 14 for example on average around 750t, other tip when you start getting a lot of stones is to switch sides where you are playing if you for example play Lvl 13 left, then play lvl 14 right to give your brain an easier time cause switching sides can also prevent you from remembering the stones and their placement from previous level :)
