I like them all, but I'm especially fond of XYY.

I really like xxys! everything else can be great too, but having matching primary and secondaries with a different accenting tertiary is so cool to me [emoji=spiral laughing size=1]

XYZ if we're completely honest, but otherwise XXY is very visually cohesive and more interesting out of the double spectrum.

well xyz is my favorite color pattern (i love when dragons look good/matchy with completely different colors in each spot it makes me so happy) but out of these i think xyy is my favorite. when the secondary and tert match it always looks so cool

XXYs and XYYs are the best imo. XXXs lack the necessary contrast to make certain gene combos work, and XYXs suffer the same issue since most terts prioritize the body over the wings
Edit: I find XYZs especially fun to work with so I consider em the best of all of the combos, with the ones mentioned previously being second best!

#1 for me a is an XYZ with matching secondary colors! Think like lead + blue-greens, Sanguine + yellows, etc.
Other than that I prefer XXY and XYY. XYX are really hard to work with and XXX are a bit boring (but I wouldn't mind hatching one for the $$$).

XYZ. I usually avoid doubles or triples because I find them boring. I love lots of colors and unusually matchy color schemes
