Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't seen this yet; Discord's newest update breaks both old & new images that were hosted in their program, so any image on FlightRising that was hosted with Discord is gone-zo...
Any broken images can just be reworked into another hosting site by copy & pasting the broken image icon (below) back into Discord, and then by redownloading the image, you can save it/reupload/etc.

Discord wasn't an image hosting service to begin with so this decision makes sense economically

Image hosting is expensive and they were tired of people using their servers for mass image hosting. Discord is a chat room app, not an image hosting service.

Yeahhhh this is why I never used discord for long-term hosting despite everyone saying how easy it was. I just knew they'd crack down eventually, even before they announced it last year. Image hosting is expensive due to the large file sizes (relative to plain text) so it was only a matter of time before they started trying to enforce the usage of their server space.
Even if you're using a legit image hosting service built for image hosting, the high expense means they could change their mind or add restrictions anytime if they're not making enough money to be worth the cost. I use imgur, but they could go the way of photobucket and there's nothing I could do about it. Always save your images as files on your personal device so you don't lose them! Unfortunately, companies who provide a service are not your friend.
I still regret not downloading a subspecies badge for one of my dragons, since the user who made it went inactive so I have no way to recover the image... Good to know there's a way to save the affected Discord images!
