Sand is so much better than gravel! It helps take care of hatchlings teeth so much more than gravel. They're more polished, but they also have the added benefit of sharpening a baby's teeth rather than dulling them like gravel does! Plus, it taste much better than gravel. Easier to get hatchlings to sink their teeth in!
Not to mention that it feels nicer to lay on and walk across. Or just feel in general! And again, it taste significantly better than gravel! Every gravel enjoyer should eat at least a handful of it, it will change their life forever. Trust me when I say that you won't be able to go back to gravel!
