Living stones are very cool and specifically known as lithops. :D They're a type of succulent!
I had no idea these were a real flower until literally right now.

I was today years old when I found out these are real, and also HUGE (up to 26 feet, so not nearly as big as Sornieth's version, but still the longest bony fish on Earth!)

You can't just show a pic of a nightjar without also showing what they look like with the beak open smh /lh

(Unlike most birds whose beaks are wholly uncovered, nightjar feathers grow alongside most of the length of the beak, leading it to look much smaller than it actually is when it's closed)

Usually I get it the other way around since I am quite into plants- "oh, these guys are on flight rising, cool!"
