TOPIC | Best Coliseum Location/Build for Money?
What is the most effective way that you make money through the coliseum? I personally struggle with making a good profit off of my farming and I’m curious how other people do it. I’m also curious how others distribute stat points for your dragons because none of my dragons feel optimal

Honestly, getting a Mire Flyer (my Scratch Build and my Meditate Build) is probably your best bet. Arcane is the best element for the Mire, but Lightning is also good. Most other Flights will be at least workable. Meditate is great for a quick start, but Scratch is best for tackling bosses and longevity.

You can train 2 fodder dragons to 5-8 (though 5 tends to be more optimal) in a few minutes and exalt them for profit. It's probably the most profitable way to use Coli.

EDIT: The Mire drops a good spread of food types, so you can get your necessary food from levelling fodder and use your Gather turns for whatever you want (Scavenging for eggs, or any other type to farm high-value but low-drop items).

The fams that drop tend to be very low-value - selling for 2-3 gems on the AH. Depending on your RNG luck and how often you're there, you can build up a good stock of those to sell any extras you're not awakening. Or you can melt them down into Mucks. Muck is used in a lot of Baldwin's recipes, but can also have more of a value on the AH.

Most other items that drop from the Mire (very heavy in Materials, less so in Trinkets) can be hoard sold for extra treasure, or you can invest the time into Baldwin's to transmute them into oozes.

Baldwin is another way to build up capital. The transmutation mats may not always have a very high value, but they have a consistent one. Also, you can brew up some of the items to sell as well as getting XP to level your cauldron faster.

This is a good step-by-step guide on how to distribute your stat points effectively.

Snooped around your lair a bit and found your coli team! Aether is the ideal build for grinding. The other two look to be some kind of double fodder leveller with slightly wonky stats and an Culex dragon.

The good news is that you're most of the way there and that it won't take much to fix things!

You have two options: Get into fodder grinding like Delotha said* or restat for a full grinding team.

Fodder grinding is the best for money but it is very monotonous and limits the range of drops you can get. However, if you do restat either Aether or Happy, you have everything you need to train up more level 25s at a good rate, particularly given the food event and bonus XP coming up next month.

If you want to stick with general grinding (or do both eventually)... restat everyone to 133 str like Aether. Working with multiple builds in a grinding team is a nightmare, not to mention limiting what venues you can comfortably farm in. Also, move Happy's eliminate to the same position as the others! Grinding effectively is 90% muscle memory, and if you have to remember to switch keys or tap in a different place 1/3 times it's going to be that much harder.

* I find mediate builds have better longevity and are definitely capable of killing bosses, but scratch is easier to learn
