TOPIC | DEBATE: Who's the best starter dragon?
Alright, I have a new debating prompt for you all. Which dragon is the best starter, and why? Defend your answer.

RULES
1. Respect everyone who has a different choice than you.
2. Really put the dragon you choose your actual favorite.
3. Your choice does not have to be the same one you chose at the beginning!

Have fun! I'd love to see what you think.
Mine personally is the Mirror, because it is the perfect lore material, especially for topics such as combat and war.

TUNDRAS.

I love fluffy guys, my progen is a tundra and i'm not planning on changing her breed any time. they clog my lair. I have nearly 20 right now.

they make me happy :)

(although, i also do love mirrors, I mostly make outfits with dergs and they are extremely fun to layer on)

edit: since I keep seeing this thread I might as well give my actual opinion. I think tundras are a really neat breed and enjoy my sucky memory dergs for lore. Yall are missing out on the lore potential of a scatterbrained tundra with terrible memory. (here me out: tundras tend to have inattentive adhd instead of hyperactive adhd).
I also very much enjoy the female pose, and working with wraps prevents looks from the fur being overlapped weirdly.

I love Mirrors for starters too! I did breed change mine into an Aberration BUT her mentality and experience as a Mirror is still very critical to her history because of that lore material.

Mirror. I have no defense I mean it's just an opinion that means nothing....there's nothing to defend

Guardian. The closest western type dragon.

Guardians! Very standard Dragon Shape and well-balanced/proportional in terms of primary vs. secondary coverage. Also the only starter that eats all 4 food types so for starting at square 1, feeding is super flexible.

Fae. Dainty and cute. So funny if they’re your primary warrior.

Guardians! Eat everything :)
Guardians! Eat everything :)
As someone who picked fae... Not them (or tundra). Having them only eat one food type was a nightmare to deal with in my early days and I never had enough insects to go around. Based on that, guardians are probably easiest to deal with - plus you get the lore potential of charges.
