I was wondering. Does anyone have any lightweight/easy-on-the-eyes-html templates? Everything I search up just links me to something with a lot of images/dividers/etc etc
Something simple for my smooth brain, please.

Demy :D FR uses BBCode not HTML.
This thread has lots of templates, some simpler than others:

If these have too many images for your taste then maybe making your own would suit you better. There's a BBCode guide here:

Thank you ! Will definitely have to get back into doing BBCode, then.

I made my own template that uses no images at all, though it does use columns, so your mileage may vary on how simple it feels?
You can see an empty version
here, and a fully utilized version
here. It's easy to expand, and mostly looks the same on mobile or desktop.
Here's an example of what a partially filled-out one looks like - I really wanted even partly finished versions of this to look okay, and for it to be easily customizable by changing the icons in the dividers, or the shape of the bullets, or anything else I wanted without it breaking.
If you want the code, I can PM it to you! Unicode icons break down if they're in a code box on Flight Rising.
