ive been running [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/art/3075249/1][b]a moodboard shop[/b][/url], and since getting more familiar with designing things, i was thinking of opening a graphics shop, where people could commission things like [b]signatures, breeding pair cards, banners, etc[/b]
i wouldve run it in the same thread as my moodboard shop, but i feel the intro post is already kinda crowded
i havent seen any active graphics shops in the art sales forum, and im not sure how id gauge interest aside from a public thread like this one

ive made some graphics to use if i do open one – i wanted to go for a different theme for each one, but keep the same colors (please do not copy or use!)

I've heard that graphics shops have problems hitting that price people can/will pay vs. price the art is worth sweet spot, so burn out quick. That said, go for it if you want to! What you've got looks pretty neat!

Renaiwom ive just finished setting up
the shop since there seems to be some interest, but im unsure about the pricing. do you think the prices seem too high/low? i was thinking of pricing higher, but given how my pwyw moodboard shop gets people only paying 50g/kt or less sometimes, i wasnt sure if it would be a good idea

mynnthia Forget the people who don't pay you what your time is worth. I'd say what my true feelings were on the matter but it'd end up all asterisks, heh... Anyways, artists generally tend to undercharge so if you think it's low, it definitely is.
From my experience, the first few prices look
okay if a touch on the low side. The dividers seem really low and badges are also low- just because they're smaller doesn't actually mean they're less work, speaking as a pixel artist. If you advertise in the right places, you'll still get bites (eventually). It's all about that balance between your skill level, the price people will pay, and the price you'd like (first and last have a bit more precedence but the second is notable in like a, don't charge a kg for uncolored lines sorta thing).
