Mentors :
No condescension.
Explaining why breeding Runes to Glimmer if you want Glimmer is a bad idea is alright, telling someone off for daring to buy a Runes dragon when they need Glimmer is not.
Don't micro-manage unless the user explicitly asked for such direct help.
Mentees :
Breeding mechanics are a tad complex and and for this reason, you need to be prepared to take in new information.
All mentors are volunteers and do this on their own time, no rudeness allowed!
You get bonk if rude

I just filled out the google form! I am excited to start working with DWF and learning from you all. The most trouble I am having is getting the hang of the color wheel and finding the right mates. I think I have the general idea of how it works, but I also think I am making it way harder than it needs to be.;^^
I'm looking forward to hearing from a mentor. :)

And this allows you to see which range you get with two specific dragons :

Snowcelot - I would love to get a mentor for my first DWF project! I am on the discord as well, but if there is someone willing to talk more one-on-one I would love to have someone to run my questions by when I have them. I'm working on setting up my initial pairs right now, which is what I am struggling with a little at the moment. While all of them have the potential to make the right color, I'm not sure how wide of a range is 'too wide' to start with. Having a mentor to work with me would be great since I am a very 'hands on' learner. ;^^
