Oil: 1,000,000
Rope: 380,000

The progress is shown as a long decimal, so I took it to wolfram alpha to rationalize it for me. Several times the result was either too small or too large so I refreshed Dustcarve Dig for the updated progress. [emoji=gaoler tongue size=2]

I did some quick division to see how much everyone would need to gather before the bars would be filled. I chose 5,000 since it's somewhere between 4,500 and 6,000 players we could get.
Beam= 82 per person
Powder= 65 per person
Oil= 200 per person
Rope= 76 per person
So in short, your grinding does matter! For roughly every 100-200 mats you're making us all 0.02% closer.
