So I asked folks if a banescale would be larger than an icewing and like ppl told me banes are like the size of a big dog and i was like:' oh..'
So then Im wondering, well Imperials are like nearly the largest dragons in Sornieth would they TOWer over the dragon tribes in the WOF series?

i don't know about WOF breeds, but i know Imperials are more [i]longest [/i]than anything, Ridgeback are tallest. this is apparently the official chart for that if you have one for the WOF breeds. Uh, I mean, all my banes are around 600-700kg, so that's way bigger than any dog. They're more horse-sized. (along with the other "medium" breeds like pearlcatchers and mirrors)

Faes and veils are about cat-dog sized.

The big bois (imps, guardians, ridgebacks, gaolers) are all vaguely elephant sized. Imps are more long that truly big, but they still weight thousands of kg, so big. Guardians on average weigh more than the largest elephants, and ridgies and gaolers are a bit less than that. Height wise I'd (very loosely) estimate them to be around 10-15 feet at the shoulder (as elephants are ~8-10)

Most (adult) Banescale I've seen are at least 6ish meters which is almost 20 feet long. Smallest I can find through a quick search is like 4 and a half meters.

Wildclaws are about a meter shorter than Banescale on average and fan charts tend to put WCs backs at around shoulder height for a person. So more like Stormfly from How To Train Your Dragon than a big dog.

I'd say that an averaged sized Guardian or Ridgeback is about the size of an adult, male SandWing. You could use that for reference to figure out how big the FR breeds are compared to IceWings.

well not just compare them to Icewings alone, like all the other tribes in WOF
which makes me wonder if ridgebacks would be as tall as Darkstalker was when he became big

plus I think an Imperial if ever should it fly into the Sky Kingdom will destroy the old arena just by bumping their big wings into the pillars lmao

That was me when someone said Banescales are “chicken dragons”. I went and looked at the measurements on the Bane I’m keeping.

I’m very happy chickens aren’t 5,2 meters tall.
