I'm new here- hi! -and because I am an extremely detail-oriented and organize-obsessed neat freak, I would really like a set theme going for all of my dragons' names.
Right now, I started going for out of the ordinary 'M' names to symbolize my username, but I've seen a lot of cool name themes on some clans; for example, something like astrology (would steal, but would feel bad and want to be unique in this case!).
Do you think I should stick with what I have going already? Even if so, I would like to hear any ideas you have for other themes.

Honestly, I just use Roman names from
this generator. There are hundreds of themed random name generators you could use on that site.
Celtic names, Egyptian names, by-race names from fandoms (e.g. Quarians, Night Elves, LOTR Dwarves, Skyrim dragons)...

My clan is all spirals and all England. Dragons I'm keeping are named after locations in England... except for my clan's ruler, QueenElizabethII and her consort PrincePhilip.
For dragons I'm going to exalt to the Arcanist that come to me through the Auction House, I usually use the random name generator... but sometimes they get England names too.
Find something you like and go with that.

Welcome! :D Honestly, if you want to use space-related names, then you shouldn't feel bad about it just because someone else does. Thankfully names can be repeated multiple times with no consequences (unlike some sites). Perhaps you can use space-related names then tweak the spelling a bit to be more unique? I know of at least a few users who do something similar.
Personally, I like to use mythos-, space-, and gem-based names a lot. I do deviate if I feel none of those fit but I prefer using a name like those.

I wouldn't spend too much worrying about it just yet tbh, it's not unusual for your opinion on lair aesthetics or color preference etc to change completely after you play a little while and you may be switching out your lair entirely. Renaming scrolls on the other hand are dirt cheap.

Not counting fandragons and references I usually use a translator for Dovahzul, the language of dragons from Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. I don't always stick to the pattern but it's the go to option for me unless I feel the translated words don't fit right cause the language can make some long and confusing names. Other then that I grab pretty names out of whatever fandom I'm currently neck deep in which can lead to some nice lore inspiration.
