I used to be in shadow but i switched to nature because it fit my matriarch's personality better
Shadow and Ice were my other choices when I signed up. But I chose fire after reading the description on the world map.

I think Arcane or Ice was almost my second pick, but Light won out by a little bit.

I had a hard time choosing between ice and water when I joined. I ultimately chose water since the aesthetic appealed more to me and I love tidelords design.
Now I'm thinking about changing to light for a flightcation. But it's still a hard decision since I love water so much.

I honestly don't remember my second pick at the time, but I've been in four flights since I joined: Arcane, Lightning, Water, and Ice... and then back to Water. I've considered going to Wind or Shadow before, but I love Water so much that I don't know if I'll ever manage it.

I joined wind first because I had a friend in there. Then I went to fire. Right now, if I were to switch flights, I'd either go to water for lore (I want deepwater nightmare dragons) or light bc aeshetic and lore and it feels fitting to my personality, or I'd go wind because it also feels like it'd fit my personality.

When I was narrowing down my flight choices, it came down to Ice vs Light. Then I realized that I, self proclaimed creature of the night, was considering to join Light of all places and promptly chose Ice.
Ironic in hindsight bc a few years later I ended up switching to Light for lore reasons :D

I almost picked nature, because I'm obsessed with biology and the natural world, but in the end water won out because of my love for the sea and marine life.
