Has anybody else seen this besides me?
It's like the way they seem to be- in some way reversing each other. If you read the lore to Flight Rising, you know that the Plague and Nature Deity didn't like each other so much, but their nymphs seem to be telling a different story.

The Blight Nymph (plague) seems to have a nature-esc feel to the design. For Instance, the clothing seems to be made of leaves, they're redder like autumn leaves. The wings look similar to leaves again, while the tail looks like some type of growing flower. Just in general there are a lot of nature themes in the Blight Nymph.
Now,

The Flower Nymph hits a lot of plague-esc themes. The skull, wings, clothing, spines on the head. All of those things are for plague, not nature. The skull on the head and wings of this nymph are the one thing that made me wonder.
Are the makers hinting at new lore or is this just a design choice? In the past, all familiars (Holiday) looked like they were a part of their represented flight. The last time something like this happened we got a new species, the bogsneak. Now, I'm just curious if there's gonna be new lore or something's gonna happen. Who knows, it could have been a design choice.

The Nymphs are just recolors of the Sprites. The Blight Nymph is a Plague-themed recolor of the Nature Sprite and the Flower Nymph is a Nature-themed recolor of the Plague Sprite. I do like your lore ideas, though.

Yeah, they do look like they belong to the opposite flight... that's strange. They are recolors, but they still really do look flight-switched.

Well, the blight nymph is recolored from the nature sprite, and the flower nymph is recolored from the plague sprite... I think the mixed looks are just the original designs' influence

Oh, whoops!
I'm totally on board with some sort of flight-switch headcanon. Perhaps the opposing deities captured enemy sprites and switched them for their needs? I should make a dragon who 'heals' Plague sprites and familiars and switches their alliances.

That kinda makes sense, but then wouldn't it mean that Shadow's and Light's be switched as well? Yet the Shadow Nymph is on the Ice Sprite's lineart and the Light Nymph is on the Water Sprite's.
I think it is more off what Sprite lineart can match another Flight's element the best without changing the lineart itself much. Plague and Nature just happened to be decent matches when swapped.

I always see nature and plague as two sides of one coin, because you cannot have life without death (represented by the plague) or death without life.
In the autumn nature (like trees and animals) begin to prepare for hibernation, shed leafs, eat a lot of food. But not every tree and animal will survive the winter.
On the other hand if animals die other annimals can eat them thus only the bones will "survive" or out of the old trees there will be growing new trees, new life. Creating a circle.
--> the Blight nymp and the Flower nymph represend this circle of life :D Where the Flower nymph is reborn out of the death, the Blight nymph will creat death.
So I think that they are prefectly well in how they are
