So I'm slowly in the process of getting me flight reps of all kinds, trying to get a male and female of each opposite element so as to breed the "contrasts" of eachother. (lore reasons and bla bla)
Like:
Light - Shadow
Plague - Nature
etc. etc.
I'm wondering what you'd think would be the opposite of elements.
I've heard many think Arcane is the opposite of Lightning, but that Water & Wind are opposites (it would make more sense to me to have fire/water though but ah well)
Let me know your opinions on which flights are opposites, and why you think so :)

Tune I see Ice and Fire as opposites. One is cold and detached and the other is passionate and wild. And I also agree with Arcane and Lightning being opposites c:

I like considering the time of the deities' creation when arranging opposites.
So, you've got the first four who pair up nicely like this:
earth - wind
water - fire
Then you've got:
light - shadow (obviously)
lightning - ice (makes sense if you consider it as 'energy' vs. 'lack of energy,' or coldness)
And then:
nature - plague
and arcane being the odd one out

Just something I thought about Wind vs. Earth :0
Apart from just elements, Wind makes me think of vagabonds while Earth is more builders and ones that stay with their roots if that makes any sense (I'm not sure how else to word that last part)

I think it's this:
Earth and Wind
Fire and Water
Shadow and Light
Plague and Nature
Ice and Lightning (I'm pretty sure it's this based off of the lore. Ice as a Flight is stated to be focused on preservation, while Lightning as a Flight changes the world to suit them. I can see them being at odds with each other quite easily; one wants to keep everything the way it is, while the other wants to change it.)
And Arcane just kind of chills out by itself.

I'd say it depends of you wanna sort them by element or personality. :v you could get different results. Or the same, idk
