I was mostly successful! I didn't break my rules until I decided to end the project a few days early, and I was still over my treasure goal/near my gem goal at the end of the month. I earned enough to make a dent in the more expensive portion of my wishlist, broke the habit of constantly browsing for new dragons, and started to give my permadragons more love. I discovered a few pitfalls to look out for next time, though. When I stopped spending on FR...I started spending more irl. I also somehow still acquired four new dragons during the challenge - two I hatched, one I swapped for, and one I straight-up demanded a friend buy for me. I love them all, but I have to remember that every new dragon brings the need for a new lair expansion closer. [/size]

I think I'm going to focus on saving up gems; but if I end with more treasure than I started with, than cool! Um, also, I will [i]not[/i] be purchasing gems w/ real money.
