I still love the color Thistle here on FR. But I see so many that hate it, who flat out refuse to buy a dragon if its offspring risk having Thistle. Like what's up with that?

This is actually the first thistle primary baby I've hatched, just yesterday~ Cynareae is the tribe name for the thistle family.

What an intriguing observation, especially since I naturally dislike Thistle. I pulled up the scrying workshop to play around with the Thistle color.
It's really not that bad, as I sit here and play with it, but I honestly would rather just have a true grey color.
Or If I wanted something more purple, I opt for Shadow or Midnight.
It's also pretty close to Platinum (which I also don't really like), but at least Platinum gives a snowbelly. I dunno. It's pretty interesting to see which colors are undesirable.
I also don't like the color range that Thistle opens up, but that is pure personal preference.
Basically, I have no idea why I don't like it. Maybe it's just that I like other colors more.

I'm glad you at least like Veilwing! He's a pretty boy. I think Iri Thistle is the way to go with Thistle, it lightens the color up and makes a wonderful match for Platinum Shimmer C:
But yeah, some colors are likes, some aren't. Like I can't STAND Mulberry or Goldenrod.
