Between my husband and I, I think we opened 4k+ chests and not a single scroll between us. We were both annoyed.
I had two dragons I wanted to scroll. I opened 1200 chests and had over 200 turn to dust because I am an idiot and misread/misinterpreted things and got all the familiars (with trades) and a few eggs, but no scrolls. Oh well. I don't know if I will bother next year, as it was more frustration than it was worth for me this year. I figure I will eventually see a nocturne in the AH that works for what I want.

No scrolls in a couple of thousand chests, but no worries or annoyance from my side. Slightly surprised at my so-called bad luck? A bit, but hey, i hatched 4 eggs! I'd have sold mine anyway.

6000 chests and no scroll. I'm not a big noc fan(babies are cute, but that's about it), but I had hoped for at least 2-3, I was going to raffle one of them off for sure and then hoard the others to donate or sell depending on my mood.
I did end up getting 38-39 eggs, I opened 3 and gave one away, and I gained 91-95 of the mimic familiars(unknown of the real ones, I didn't do a before count).
But I was still pretty disappointed. I'm going to aim for 10-15k chests next year

Didn't get one, but I only wanted one to sell. I opened maybe 600 chests and sold the rest. I made a good amount of cash selling the chests, so no worries here! :D

I would have gene'd him. He was a Tundra but I had so many male tundras I hated looking at them but his colors are great.
I opened a good 1500 chests. Got 7 eggs but no scroll.

lucky for me, i had joined in the middle of the event. and then, i was still getting used to everything, and i have come from Howrse so I thought it was some premium event only for people with lots of gems. Turns out it's only for people with lots of time.
My mistake.
I had tried for the small amount of time I had, but ended up with no scroll. No egg. I lay in a puddle of my tears.
actually im not laying there but it's p close to how im feeling. or how i was. i can just get it some other time. but im still bitter lmao
