It is only a hair style, plus dreadlocks have been used by different cultures throughout history, including the Celtics. Please, no cultural appropriation here.

Not to mention that Pulis are a breed of dog with natural dreadlocks. So...argument invalid.
That being said...Winter coat Tundras with dreadlocks.

@MrMoon Biracial, here, half-black and considering dreadlocks for a future hairstyle for myself. -raises eyebrows- Also aren't we getting a liiiittle serious here? Dragons, man. Dragons with dreads. I appreciate what you're trying to do, believe me, but you're preachin' to the choir, dude!
Besides, who's to say there aren't tundras, pearlies, and imps with different hair textures out there? Considering the wide variation of habitats and wide distribution of species, I think it's reasonable to think that some of the fluffier dragons from different regions could have hair texture similar to, well, my own. -shrugs-
Which brings me to my next point: tundras, pearlies, and imps with floofy afros.
It would be fabulous.

The only way you could think this hairstyle belongs to only black people is if you've never left very select areas of the US. Heck, if you've been to California even you could see this isn't the case. Not trying to be mean or anything @MrMoon, but just letting you know you should be aware of your own social lenses before you call other people out on theirs ^~^

Tundras have wonderful floofy fur (or.. it appears that way) and I 100% believe that in-universe they'd have lots of different "hair"-styles.
