With the music box wound up, the song began to play. As soon as it did, a section opened up at the top with a small ballerina figurine turning to the music. Once the sound stops, you notice something shining under the figurine inside the box. You pick up the music box and turn it upside and the insides fall out. It is an old necklace.

You crank up the music box, it takes a moment to start playing. It plays a simple low pitched tune, followed by jangling sounds of the mechanism. Though half way through a metal part falls off and the music stops. Guess it's broken now, you take a few of the gears with you.

Instead of a wind up lever, there is a simple switch. You flick it and a sweet lullaby melody fills the room. After a moment, you hear something skitter behind you, a lone hatchling comes out to sit by the music box, listening carefully.
