It was either join them, or be erased forever. I would rather die in the darkness than live ignorant in the light. I owe them my life, and dragonkind has no other savior. The Icewarden has abandoned the Foundation to fend for ourselves."

The bright glow of his eyes hurts to look at, so you elect to stare at the ground until he answers you. Trill starts talking and it's so fast you can barely comprehend it, but you manage to catch something about liveliness and creativity before you ask him to slow down. Taking a deep breath, Trill uncoils himself before looking at you again, seeming trying very hard to speak at a speed you can understand. "Well, I guess the main thing is the dragons. We have a lot of... strays, here, in Antares. A lot of our dragons come from clans that have rejected them, or dragons without a clan at all. Everyone's personalities are so unique - I don't think I've ever had a boring conversation with any one of them. Except maybe Vikenti, but she's just... [i]like that[/i]." "It was hard, and it still is hard, to cultivate plants here, so the fact we even had a garden to begin with was so special... I take care of it now.
